Continuing Care Assistant provides knowledge and skill development in helping people help themselves in their homes and in special-care facilities.
What do Continuing Care Assistants do on the job?
• Promote independence in a safe environment
• Provide personal care
• Assist with individual psychosocial needs
• Work with individuals with different levels of physical and cognitive impairment
• Work under the supervision of registered nurses, registered psychiatric nurses or licensed practical nurses
